posthell vs Agorapulse
Agorapulse is built for people who manage conversations and reports for brands. posthell writes the posts for an owner who has nobody to manage.
Agorapulse is one of the best tools for handling conversations: one inbox for comments, messages and mentions on every plan, Facebook and Google reviews in the same place, an AI writing assistant, and reports that tie social activity to website results. It is priced per user, from $79 a user a month billed yearly on the Standard plan as of this update, with 10 profiles each and a 30-day trial without a card. Its old free plan ended in July 2026; the free option now is Archie, which turns a file you upload into draft posts. All of that is good value for an agency or a marketing team that lives in the inbox. For an owner who mainly needs posts to exist, it is a lot of tool. posthell writes those posts: a line from you about the week becomes a version for each network, waiting for your approval, from $12 a month. If replying to every comment from one place matters more to you than the writing, Agorapulse is the better pick.

Why people switch from Agorapulse to posthell
Posts first, inbox second
Agorapulse is at its best once there is a stream of comments to work through. Many small businesses are not there yet because nothing is being posted. posthell fixes that part: you tell it what happened and it writes the week's posts.
Priced for one person, not per seat
Agorapulse's price is per user, so it assumes a team. posthell's price is per business: Solo is $12 a month ($10 billed yearly), Pro $24 ($18) and Assistant $49 ($37).
Approval from your phone
Every draft waits in Review with a version for each network. You approve one, or a whole week together, between customers. There is no workflow to configure first.

Which one is right for you
To be fair to Agorapulse: One of the strongest inboxes for comments, messages and reviews, on every plan, with reports that connect social activity to website results.
- You need the posts written more than you need an inbox
- You are one person and per-user pricing does not fit
- You want to start at $12 a month rather than a per-user plan
- Replying to every comment and message from one place is the main job
- You report social results to clients or a manager
- You want Facebook and Google reviews in the same inbox
Moving from Agorapulse takes minutes, not a migration
Paste your website when you sign up and posthell shows you three finished posts, written for your business, before you pay. Then connect your accounts and approve the drafts. There is no content library to import and no dashboard to relearn.
Frequently asked questions
Is posthell a good Agorapulse alternative?
For an owner who needs the posts written, yes. For a team whose day is spent answering comments, messages and reviews, Agorapulse's inbox is the stronger tool, and posthell has no inbox at all.
Does Agorapulse still have a free plan?
Not the old one. Agorapulse's help centre says its free plan ended on 6 July 2026; the free option now is Archie, which turns an uploaded file into draft posts for a few networks. Its pricing page FAQ still mentions a free plan as of this update, so check before you sign up.
Can posthell reply to comments like Agorapulse?
No. posthell writes and publishes your posts and shows how each one did, but replies happen in each network's own app.
Does Agorapulse have an MCP server for AI tools?
Yes, in beta. Agorapulse's ChatGPT and Claude connector can read your data, create drafts and reply to inbox items, but it cannot schedule or publish posts (per Agorapulse's help centre as of this update). posthell has one too, as an optional extra for technical users (docs at posthell.com/mcp); by default anything an AI tool sends it waits in Review for your approval.
